Her efforts have recovered millions of dollars owed to the citizens of Palm Beach County that help pay for critical services.

    Under Anne’s leadership, our Tax Collector’s Office has kept serving the nearly 1.5 million residents across Palm Beach County during the pandemic, while maintaining a focus on customer safety, access, and responsiveness. She has made many services available online 24-7. These services are accessible anywhere, anytime securely and confidently. Anne has made it her mission to continually improve the office’s processes and technology.

  • Staff Training and Public Outreach

    Anne is committed to ensuring our staff has all the necessary training they need to complete their job and provide the level of service residents and taxpayers expect. It is the prime responsibility of our Communications team to impart the knowledge needed to make the public’s use of our office easier and more accessible. One of the biggest challenges we face, is the lack of public awareness concerning our services. I want to continue working to educate the public about the proper processes, deadlines and requirements for paying taxes, updating their registrations and driver licenses.

    Anne Gannon transformed Palm Beach County’s Tax Collector’s Office into an award-winning agency. Since Anne was first elected Tax Collector, the office has received numerous state and local awards for its public awareness campaigns and educational publications. With the cutting-edge technology and enhanced procedures, Anne is improving efficiencies and customer service experiences, modernizing services, protecting tax dollars, and saving taxpayers money.

  • Promoting Healthy Living & Well-being

    Anne has made employee health and wellness a top priority, it is also a personal passion of hers. Anne’s wellness initiative at the Tax Collector’s Office has improved the overall health of employees and lowered their out-of-pocket medical expenses. This successful program helps keep agency medical costs in check and promotes healthier living for employees, setting an example for our entire county. As a result of these efforts, the agency has been awarded the “Fit Friendly Workplace” designation by the American Heart Association.
